Vintage Copper Ban Marie (Double Boiler)

This vintage copper and ceramic ban marie (double boiler) is perfect for melting chocolate, caramel, making delicate sauces, or anything else for which you need a double boiler. To use, pour water into the copper base and insert the ceramic insert (with attached copper/brass strap/handle), bring water to a boil, and melt your ingredients in the ceramic part of the ban marie. Set includes: base, insert, and lid. Copper adds such a cozy touch to a home!
