(It is thought to have its origins in China over 4,000 years ago.) The Sugar Hill design is three sheets of dainty, floral sprigs in blue and green. While truly an international endeavor, I named all of the gift wrap sheets in the collection for favorite places in New England. The block print pattern on these sheets reminds me of Sugar Hill, New Hampshire. Sugar Hill is a small town nestled in the White Mountains with sweeping views of mountains and meadows. It is known for its bountiful fields of lupine flowers which bloom in the springtime and early-summer, attracting visitors from far and wide to roam in the fields and marvel at the blue flower spires waving in the mountain breezes.
